Blooms Galore!

This past weekend, I bought an apricot Hibiscus and it has already bloomed! In addition, more of the Daliahs are blooming and my Gardenias are starting to bloom (it should be full of blooms in a couple of days). I am so excited about all of the color in my flowerbed!

Daliah

So pretty, another of my newly planted flowers bloomed today! The blooms are so big and gorgeous, and there are a few more left to bloom. Check out below the bloom, and you can see Toby peeking out the glass door.

Toby's Chair

I guess that Toby is learning how to manage his little splint/cast easier, so he has began jumping on chairs again. I brought this pink chair over when my brother was visiting for an extra seat and Toby has decided to claim it. He first took claim immediately after Ryan left, but once he hurt himself, he couldn't jump up with the splint. It didn't take him long to learn how to run (by holding his injured leg back and running/hopping on 3 legs) or jump (don't ask me how he does this). I am still trying to limit him, but at least this chair is relatively low to the ground. He has a little over a week until he goes to the vet for his next check up, then probably another 2 weeks in the splint. Who knows, maybe he will get a more masculine color if Dr. Diego?

Flowers

I am not sure what these are, but they have popped up everywhere in the flower bed. They are pretty at least.

Tough Guys Wear Pink

Toby went back to the vet today, and he saw his regular vet. He thinks he possibly tore his meniscus in his knee. He placed him in a knee immobilizer, so Toby is in pink for two weeks. Poor little guy! The vet said for him to wear this for 2 weeks (plus continue the medicine), then come back for a recheck, then it will probably be another 2 weeks. If he is better, then we are good to go. If he isn't better, then it will be surgery for the little guy, so keep your fingers crossed. He just doesn't understand why he is wearing this thing on his leg, and he keeps looking at me like "mom, why did you do this to me?"

Dinner in Wilmington

Tonight, we are going out to dinner at Reel Cafe, in Wilmington, NC. It is a great little place that we try to make a stop at each trip to Wrightsville Beach. I decided to wear one of my new sundresses for the occasion, as it was a beautiful night.

Poor Toby

I came home from work, and Toby was limping and holding one leg up. I took him to the vet, and she believes that he dislocated his kneecap. He is now on anti-inflammatory medicine and supposed to rest. He should be back to his old self soon.
