Fun in SC

My mom and I drove down to SC to visit family, and we also got to play with Zoe. In case you don't remember, Zoe is my cousin's baby who was born about 2 1/2 months ago. I haven't seen her since she was 2 weeks old, and wow, she has grown! It was also much easier for me to hold her this time, as the last time I had just had shoulder surgery. She is growing so much in her personality, and she sure does love her great-grandpa!

HondaJet First Flight Celebration

Josh invited me to HondaJet's F1 First Flight Celebration last night. They had dinner and the presentation at the Marriott and you could go over to the hangar to see the F1 airplane. It was so much fun to see the actual airplane and be so close. Josh's role in the plane is working on anything electrical for the plane and doing all of the drawings/designs for the electrical work.

Snow Plows

What a fun first full week back to work, driving on icy roads! I took this picture as I was stopped waiting for the snow plow to get way ahead of me. It was interesting to watch them in action, and I wish we had more of them on days like this! Hopefully, driving conditions will be better tomorrow.

First snow of 2011

We had some snow early in the morning, but most of that melted before lunch. Around 5 pm or so, the second round of snow started. I looked out the back to see the icy pond and the ducks all swimming together. We got mostly ice, but it is still pretty to look at.

New Years 2011

Time to welcome in a new year, and the best way to do it is with friends! Josh and I went out with some of his friends from Colorado, and we had a great night.
