This is my second weekend actually in Jacksonville, NC. It has been a bit rainy today, but this beats having the hurricane hit. This is the view from my little porch, not as exciting as some of my previous views have been! While Jacksonville itself is not a glamorous city, I enjoy where I work. The staff has all been very friendly, and I am enjoying meeting the new people. I am now working 10 hour days, so I get an extra day off during the week (typically Fridays). My original schedule was 7:00 until 3:30, so I figured, I if I was getting up that early, I might as well work 2 extra hours and have Fridays off. So far, it is going well and it isn't bad working the extra hours.
