Kitchen Renovations

Since I have Fridays off, I decided to come home this weekend to check out my mother's new kitchen renovations. The whole process began when the termite people did not fully protect the home, and they had termites under the house. The termite protection company had to pay for the repairs, including ripping up the entire kitchen floor to get to the supporting boards for the house. They got to pick out new flooring, and opted for a darker, more modern look. Then, my mom decided that while the people were out, she would ask about getting new counter tops, again, choosing a darker, more modern look. The contractor told her about the new composite sinks, and when we went to look at them, they looked so great, we had to get one in a dark slate color (we also picked out a new faucet too). Since my mother has always wanted to update the sliding glass doors, she asked the contractor for a price to change that out for French doors with the blinds on the inside of the glass panes (as she one had a door like this at her home in Easley and loved it), plus, no more worrying about the Venetian Blinds that are a royal pain. Above, are some pictures of the new renovations, it looks great!
