As I am drawing near to the end of my time in Chicago, I decided to go see the Art Institute today. It was full of beautiful pieces of art, sculptures, and various pieces of furniture. I am glad that I took the chance to see these special pieces of art from different eras of time and from all over the world. Unfortunately, the Impressionist and Post-Impressionist collection is undergoing renovations, so I was unable to see the paintings by Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh (among others).
